Auto Transmission swap

Any suggestions of a good transmission swap for a Turbo 350 column shift behind a small block that would add overdrive?

Goals:
I do not want to eliminate the column shift.
No tunnel cutting as it is all original sheet metal.
Would like to cruise in town with 3.73 gears and hit the high way without screamiing at 4,000 RPM.

I am also considering a gear vendor to add overdrive to the stock set up.

Any suggestions?
