What is the correct position of the emission sticker.

I have seen the emission sticker on both the small lip of the radiator support and on the fan shroud.  Check out ebay auction  300265057077.  The sticker is on the shroud.  My car had the sticker on the radiator support just to the right of center.  What is correct.  The car in this auction looks original.  I thought it went on the shroud on AC cars only.  Were the application rules lax?  Could it have been originally applied on the shroud.  I thought the "Caution Fan" sticker went there on the shroud (Just kidding).  Anyway...what's the verdict from the pool of experts who will be reading this?

Most are on the core support and some are on the shroud, pick your poison.  Both are correct,
