Door stricker

Hi,

What was the color of the door stricker on a 1969 Camaro? Was it the simple Zinc steel color or painted? I saw NOS black ones on ebay....

Mines have to be changed because the sleeve is loose.

The striker was received zinc-plated, then it got body color (it was installed in the Body Shop, prior to Paint).
