Doorlock problem

Hi

I have inclosed a pic - can you locate if there is a spring missing or something ?? Wops it didnt work so I have pasted a link.. can“t you post pics in here ??

The plates I have circled in is the one that can flip back and forward, and when the door is locked it just gets somehow in the way so den locksmecanismen wont open - if I flip it back again weith my finger it opens fine ?!?!?!

It appears to have a spring missing
I couldnt get a good pic of mine - I drew on your original pic approximately where the spring goes

I don't remember exactly, but there should be a rod coming from the door lock knob at the top of the door to that lever with a hole in it about 2 inches below your red circle.  (The one you push down to lock the door from the inside.)  That rod is attached somehow to the door latch handle.  (The lever you pull to open the door from the inside.)  That lever has a spring built into it and keeps the lever in your red circle against the door knob push button.  It looks as if these rods are all missing or have fallen off to the bottom of the door.

Just wanted to give an update...

Removed the door latch today, and manufactured a new spring with the right turn from a BSA mc front wheel.. Everything is installed again and work perfect ;-)
