Quadrajet Number

I came across a Rochester Quadrajet with the number 29204  FF  1409. The number is NOT 7029204. Has anybody ever seen one like this ? Thanks.

so some came with the 70 and some without?

In the detail for a 29200 carb for sale on eBay the seller said "all 1969s manufactured in this time period had the entire number on one line and to do this they eliminated the 70. Later on the date code was dropped below the oem number of the carburetor". His carb was dated 0149. Mine is 1409 or May 20th. It would seem that in this date range the 70 would be missing IF his statement is correct.

Read THIS gents. When I was writing the report, I emailed Jon Hardgrove about several things including this. He said there never seemed to be a rhyme or reason for the 5 digit stampings, but it appears mostly in 68 and 69 carburetors (although he's also seen it in later carbs).

I have a couple of 29202 DH 0869 units, I will check the Julian date as I have them being the same (0869) for both.. How rare is that to have 2 of the same date???
Also have an '69 Olds 29251 RJ 1149 and a '72 Olds 2251 (only 4 digits) then RE 2651.
Hope I haven't sullied the Camaro parts with Olds parts numbers, but I kinda found it interesting that there was a 4 digit code i.e. 2251.. 
Some of the older carbs I have are seized: 7026202 - data disc unit   - one of the  two 29202 units   - and a 7029268 ('69 Poncho) is seized.  Not a real load of rust on these carbs, but, what is a safe way to "free 'em up" without killing the throttle plates and associated linkages???  T.
