67 RS rocker panel paint

Quick question regarding my 67 RS.  I am looking to paint the area below the rockers black, but wanted to see if anyone knows if that paint should be flat black or more of a satin.  Can't seem to find anything on it on this site. Thanks.

Go to search, type in "rocker blackout" and you can read until your eyes fall on the floor.
