Holley DZ carb dates.

What date would this be on a 3923289-DZ list#4053  Date is 0921. Any help is great

Shouldn't have a 0 in front of the 9.  That would be Feb 1, 1969.  If it has the 0, I guess its April, 1971.

Could it be a service part and thats why the date is like this

0921 is April 1981, 1991 or 2001. It's more than likely a Holley Restoration carburetor.

The carb looks pretty tired and worn,I imagine it is from the 80s

Definately a serivce date carb.  Check the base plate and choke pull off too.  Later versions of these carbs are different.
