Sun Visor Tip & Bushing Colors

I am restoring a 1968 SS with standard black interior, what color would the sun visor tip & bushing have been when it came from the factory?  I thought they would both be black, but I'm not seeing a set for sale with both items being black.

I appreciate any help you can give.

The ones I've seen were NOS. The bushing was a milky off white & the tip was gray....Joe
