I know that it's been discussed before, but I don't recall seeing any feedback from anyone who tried to install the new(er) '69 camaro endura bumper from Heartbeat.  They say that it's made identical to the original.  I called over to Heartbeat and they say that they installed one and it's perfect.  I asked for pictures and so far - nothing.  I'm thinking that's not a good sign?

Good question bergy. I agree, that if it's so good, why don't the vendors demonstrate that, rather than just state it?

Pictures always are better than thousands of words - especially close ups!!

Link back to this discussion in 2015 - shows the problems everyone had with the reproductions at that point. Most of it involves the very end of the bumper where it wraps around the edge of the front fender - the then current bumper had to be extended and blended to match the original contours.

I sold my spare during this time and discussion, still have my original for the X77, but if the "new and improved" bumpers are better, I've always considered adding one onto the Z11, as I think they work very well in the Dover/Hugger combination. Hopefully pics of the "new" one will surface -

Steve
