The spoiler could have been added by the dealer.

It is possible but I don't believe so. I saw many other LOS Z/28s back in the '70s with the stripes on the back lip and I doubt they were all dealer installed spoilers. I think this deserves more attention and research.

Interesting. I've seen a lot of original paint cars go through ebay and show up on forums and I've not see stripes on the back lip with spoilers.
Process-wise, it would have been easy to do.
