Guys - I am new to the site and was introduced to it by Darell - in process of restoring numbers matching Dusk Blue/White top 69Z.  Found these two cars on catsexotics.com and was curious to see what you guys think about the "matching numbers" and the stamps in general including the TT's.  Just taking up the hobby and need help from the pros.  Scroll down on the pics to the end of both posts and you will see all the numbers on both cars.  I don't know much but these made me want to verify.  Much appreciated.  Thanks Rob

New to this but after looking at the posts from you guys on how much these cars have been vetted, I have to ask myself how long will they continue to try.  Thanks for the help!

They continue to sell cars like these to unsuspecting buyers. (nice 1LE BTW  ;) )

Its hard you research and read up on the cars, but items sometimes details get by you. The guys on this site though are great at noticing the small details and giving you the real scoop!

Welcome Rob, any friend of Darrell's is, well, anyway we won't hold that against you.  :)  Just kidding of course.
Yes, as Bentley showed, be careful of this seller/dealer, his "Z's"  cough, cough have been discussed more than once.
Here is another example! It is the second link you show. William flagged it five years ago.

Hey Len - Darell and I went through the thread earlier today. It amazes me the extent of the lie. Spoke to them a few hours ago and asked what supporting docs they had on both bars and they said everything they had was in the pics. No stories on either car. Typically, REAL cars have stories that are documented. Glad big D turned me on to the forum,

Thanks for the kind words.

Darrell and the rest of here will do our best to steer you in the right direction. Just post some pics or a link to the website of the car you are looking at. We all enjoy looking closely at pics.

I wish more undereducated buyers would consult the forums instead of believing they are getting the "deal of the day" when all they end up with is a bad taste for the hobby.
