Another Tire Question

Anyone running 22560R15 in the front and 25560R15 out back? I need new tires on my Gold car and was thinking about mixing it up a bit. This would give me a tire out back that would be .7 inches higher than the front. That seems like alot?
Discount Tire says on their site that P20570R15 are the stock size, but I thought JohnZ said 22560R15 were the closest to stock? Anyone know?

Anyone have a requested setup?

Little rake looks good, I like more tire in the back--anyway my cars in the shop ,when I see it I'll send you the size. I too wanted the closest match to E 70 15's in the front but don't remember off hand what I purchased--long time ago.

Not sure how it matches up to stock, but I've run 215 65 R15 on front and like the look.     Could do 225 65 R15 up front also. 
I think 255 60 and 245 60 both look good in back.  I like running the 65 series up front because it gives you a tire as tall as the rear without a chance of rubbing.
Just depends on how much of the wheel well you want filled.  Just my opinion.  Hope it helps.

I am running P21570R15 on all four corners now and the car looks a little too tall. I have had these tires since like 1993 so I need to get rid of them. My Silver car has 23560R15s on all four corners I love the look, but I do get an occasional rub on the left front when I turn just right. I too like the rake the 255's will give. The car has new Moog springs up front and I re-arched the rear springs five years ago. So it does sit a little higher than the Silver car. The idea of the 65's may be a good one. I have had the car looking all stock since 2005 when I got it so a little day two won't hurt anything. Just need to figure out the front size.

215/65-15 is exactly the same size as the original E70-15.

I'm running 215 70 15 on my 68 and I love the look, but I like a stock skinny tire look.
I currently have some 235 60 15 on a 1979 Z28 and I think they look too short...Different car and body though for sure.

215/65 X 15  and  205/70 X 15 are virtually identical, and yes, same diameter as E70 X 15.   I am running 207/70 X 15's on 15 X 6 in. rims on the front on my 67.  Running 275/60 X 15 on 15 X 8 in. rrims on the back.

Nope - I have 215/65-15's all the way around. It came to me with the usual 235/60-15's, but they rubbed at 12 o'clock on the fronts (original springs).

I like the fatter tire look.  I've been happy with 235's on 7" rims up front and 255's with 8" rims out back.  I have #6320 front springs with no rubbing problems.

Running 215/70 R15 with stock suspension  on Cragar SS rims.  No rubbing, etc.  but tires stick out a little further than stock.
