1969 14 x 7 Trim Rings

Did the factory original 14 x 7 trim rings (Rally Wheel SS) or SS with Trim Rings have the 4 retention clips or the gripping teeth around the outside of the ring?  If these were changed during production from the retention clips does anyone know the approximate dates.  I know they were 2 3/4 inches wide and had the oblong valve stem hole.

I find a lot of information on the 15 x 7 Rally Wheel Z28 but not the 14 x 7 SS and I am only interested on the 14 x 7.
