You're getting a little closer to knowing exactly what you have...  :)    VIN.... L346855    is a July '68 production car..

C130 if It makes any sense     (13 March 1970 cast engine block, assembled 24 March 1970; installed originally in a '70 Corvette with 350ci/300hp/4sp)
the Rear axle ID is BU0925G2 E       (3.73:1 Posi 12 bolt - could be from a '68 or 69 Camaro.. assembled 25 Sept)
4-speed muncie ID P0510

Does the engine pad have a VIN on it?   mmSnnnnnnn   or ??

yes

70s408936

That further confirms the 350/300 engine as being from the 1970 Corvette having VIN partial of 70S408936.

Ok thanks.

I've noticed that there are various different packages of brakes offered with the Camaros but y have some got different size boosters and master cylinders

x77-69z28

GM only made one size booster. You are probably looking at modified cars wit later model 4 wheel discs.

The reason y I ask is I've noticed my 68 has a slimmer master cylinder an only 1 metal strap where as others have a slightly fatter master cylinder and two hook over straps tying in the cover just a quiery

5 is the normal for multi leaf.
Z = 4
