43's are way too cold for normal street use anyway; I run AC 45's (R45S) in mine - that same heat range equivalent (Autolite 86, Champion RJ14YC, etc.) in any other plug will work fine too. If you have the OEM "30-30" cam and stock valve springs, any CJ-4-rated diesel oil (like Shell Rotella, Mobil Delvac, Chevron Delo, etc.) has adequate ZDDP; the brand doesn't matter, as long as the API Service Category is CJ-4. If you go with an aftermarket cam and stronger valve springs, you'll need an additive or a ZDDP-fortified oil like Brad Penn, etc.

I'm sure you have good reason to change much of the valve train (cam, lifters, etc.) but do your homework on cam break-in and what to do/not do if you are staying with an original type solid cam profile.
Could save you butt.... ;D

Are you sure these oils have the ZDDP? I heard the Diesel oils had the zinc dropped also.

Yes. The CJ-4 oils consistently test at 1100-1200 ppm zinc/phos; the older CI-4 oils were slightly higher (1200-1300). If you have an OEM valvetrain, that's all you need; with more radical aftermarket lobe profiles and Gonzo valve springs, it's a whole different ball game.

I just bought a case of gallon's 15-40 Kendell CI . Cant hardly find it anywhere. The place where I bought  keep it for the People who run the Older Diesel engine's.
