That glitch in the stripe on the fender is correct. They almost always have that defect as I'm guessing it was something with the stencil but don't remember. I smiled when I saw it.

You are correct Charley. The fender striping was applied with a two piece. The stencils were mated about 11 inches from the front. The misalignment of the stencils caused the stripe misalignment. That fender stripe looks like it was applied at the factory and to me is a badge of honor. :)

Thanks guys!!   I'm not sure what its all worth but i'm gonna go ahead and sell it to my best friend.  Maybe I will get it back from him one day......  I just dont have the time and money to restore it correctly....
