Looking to put an oil pressure gauge line for 67 console gauges and want to know if any of these pictures show the correct firewall hole?  Sorry, for the tiny pics...

Do a search on "oil line" and you'll find several threads.

Early 67's came with a fitting that went through the firewall while later cars just used the rubber grommet. We need to know the build date of the car. We also need to know if it was built at Norwood or Van Nuys. The locations are different between the two facilities!!

My 12D 67 RS/SS has the fitting. I don't have a picc handy but it is dead center just below the seam between the cowl and firewall.

Thanks Ed.  I will research again.  I was under the impression that both the grommet and the fitting used the same hole, thats why I was asking.  Didnt know the location was different between the two plants.

My car is a 01C Van Nuys car btw.

Thanks!

Norwood pretty much stuck to the AIM but Van Nuys seemed to be all over the road, which is why we're looking for 67 and 68 LA cars for the FIREWALL PIERCING RESEARCH study!

However, in the meantime, HERE'S a thread showing where you should be looking for the dimple.

There is a crease, center, behind distributor. About 1/2" above that line is the oil line dimple
