67 speedometer

Hi All Can anyone tell me if there was a model of 67 camaro that came with a 160 mile speedo? My ragtop has a 120 mi one but i just picked up a 160 that i belie ve came in a firebird. I may install it if it came in a camaro. Thanks Jimbo

No Camaro came with a 160 MPH speedometer. Your car would have the 120.

I didnt thinks so. Thanks for the info Captain. I wonder now, what firebird came with the 160 mi hr speedo? Any guesses?

1968 and 69 Firebirds came with the 160 MPH speedometer.

U mean 1st gen right? My room mate in college had a 2nd gen 6 cyl with a 160 moh speedo.

Correct, no 1st gen came with one. My 2009 V6 CTS goes to 160 but I haven't attemped to see how fast it will go.

I just thought it very humorous that his 6 cyl had a 160 mph as it would be lucky to go 90. The thinking at the time was they had those for the Z28's.
