My 68 is due for a new set of tires and I'm looking for a tire that looks nice and beefy on the car to give it a little bit of a muscle car look. I'd love some size recommendations and really love any photos of your cars to see what the tires look like on the car. I'm considering maybe a different profile on the rear than the front and maybe even 14" on the front and 15" on the rear.

Thanks in advance, Mike.

68 with the "proverbial" BFG T/A all around on 14" wheels.

That's a nice look and I've always liked the T/A radials. What size are those on your car?

215/70... When I bought it, it had "big wheels" on it, but I got tired of the rubbing.

Are you switching from bias ply to radial, or already radial.  When I went to radial found that the factory front alignment specs didn't work well.  Went to a customized setup to compensate for the radial tires.

215/70 radials are what I have now. I put them on the car in the late 1980's and they still have treads but are overdue for a change. I may go back with the same but I'm playing with the idea of the rears being a little beefier than the fronts this time. I will post a photo as soon as I learn to attach a photo here.

Mike.

Here's a photo that I took a last week, I've always liked the look of the 215/70 radials but like I said earlier I'm thinking of something a little racier.

Nice looking car!
If it suits your needs, go for it!

Oh I remember, I was born in 1954 and have owned this Camaro since 1987.
