The C & G definitely look different.

Okay, It's definitely a "C".

I compared this one to several other POP's I have and you'll note that all the "G" have a little "nub" on the horizontal line. The transmission stamping doesn't have that "nub" so it's a "C".

Ed, if you don't mind me asking...how did you manage to get the magnified shot at the bottom? It almost looks like you used and electron microscope. My digital must be very out dated. Excellent pic.

I scanned it in at 600DPI. My Lexmark 9500 network printer/scanner/fax/copy machine actually goes to 19K DPI (although I've never tried anything that big before).

Ouch...your scanner is reasonably priced but your Lexmark is mucho $$$. Although I guess you need the best to get the best.

Thanks.

My work paid for it, so I don't have to worry about it. The only problem with these stupid printers is the price of the ink! The ink is almost as much as buying a new printer!! But my work pays for that as well, so I guess I can't complain.
