belt help

Hello all! I have a 68' 327 RS that I just purchased licensed GM replacement belts for the alternator, a/c, and pwr steering. They are manufactured by Quanta. The issue I'm having is that the a/c belt is 1/2" wide as where the alternator & pwr steering belts are 3/8" wide. Is the a/c belt supposed to be 1/8" wider than the other belts? Not only does it not seem right, but doesn't look right either when installed on the crank and w/pump pulleys. The a/c belt sticks up out of the pulley, where the others sit down in nicely. Does anyone know what is correct? Thanks in advance for any advise.
