minimum rearend width

 Does anyone know what the minimum width for a 69 camaro can be without tubing?

O.k. , I must have said some thing wrong. I know that with all the camaro knowledge you guys have that someone knows the minimum width rearend that can be put under a 69 without having to tub. I have a 9" ford that is 50" from backing plate to backing plate, 3" narrower than stock. I've been told this will be fine with proper back spacing. Please let me know your opinions. thanks!
