The VCCA is a good bunch of people with quite a few members. They have a monthly magazine called the Generator Distributor which has some good articles, a list of tech advisors & a classified section. I think you would have to join to see their judging criteria, They are probably geared for the older cars but I do see articles once in a while that pertain to Camaros. They would probably welcome facts & articles about Camaros. They will be holding a show in July of 2011 at Flint. It's the 50yr aniversery of the VCCA & the 100yr with Chevrolet. It's open to all Chevrolets. The club is setting up some tours with the Chevrolet people. It should be a blast. The club is worth the little amount that the charge.......Joe

My 69 has been judged by them up to winning a "Preservation" award.

A lot of those "judges" really don't know Camaros, about what is right, and what is not.........just like the AACA.....they just know what its "supposed to look like".....

Back then, I got into a lot of "heated exchanges" between a few of those so-called judges.  So much, I would bring McNeish's book and show them what something is supposed to look like.

Personally, awards from the AACA & VCCA are nothing by notariety awards.......IMO and we all have one.
I leave all the badges / awards at home....I don't think they mean anything.
If you want an award that means something....win at the Camaro Nationals.......at least the judges know something about what they're looking at.
