Anybody come up with the perfect solution to water leakage aroung 69 tail light gaskets?? I have heard that aftermarket gaskets are really bad. And mine are definitely leaking.

I'm thinking about re-using the original gaskets and running a bead of Black silicone RTV around both sides.... Any thoughts / opinions?

Obvious question but have to ask it. Have you tightened down the lights to the car recently?

Seal between the gasket and lens, not between the gasket and body.
