does anyone know of a web site for vehicle title searches the one's I've found only search back to 81's and newer?

I don't know of any web sites. Who you contact would depend on what state you live in. I live in Illinois and we contact the Secretary of State's office. I don't know how far back their records go, but they do have 1967, 1968 and 1969.

Thanks for the input, i've found a site, waiting to here back it's called Title Recovery.com if any one else needs help locating a title, they can title in all 50 states.
