Hi I have a 67 deluxe steering wheel is the chrome 3 spoke trim on the wheel with the black stripe in middle. Is this same as a corvair?

The pic is of a corvair not Camaro does anyone know if they are the same or have same part number?

The books shows the 67 Camaro Deluxe "Shroud" (Group 6.512) as being P/N 9745804.

It shows the 67 Corvair Monza "Shroud" as being P/N 9745805, so they must be different. What the difference is, I don't know.

However, for 1968 it shows the same shroud (P/N 9748163) as being used on the Nova, Corvair and the Camaro, so it appears the "brushed" shroud is the same.

If you can get it cheap, give it a shot!

I have one on my 67 and no, they are not the same. Look in the S.Wheel data to see what's different.

I did not see any thing about the corvair wheel ? Or are you talking about the diff from the brushed and the chrome?

The pic of the Corvair shroud you posted is not the same as the Cam. shroud. Corvair grooves in spokes do not continue to end and there are no notches on the inner perimeter where the horn cap goes. Pull them up side by side and you will see they are noticeably different. If yours is bad it will take time to prepare it prior to chroming. You can do all that yourself, or burp the coin to pay someone.  Mine was in poor condition as it came from a tired parts car I had. Farewell, Scott
