68 L78 Distributor Cap

Anyone know if I should use a Delco dark brown cap with the copper contacts on my 68 L78?  I also have the regular black Delco cap if that was original?

The brown cap with the copper contacts was used on the L-88 Corvette (and on no other Corvettes); don't know what its other applications may have been, but I've never seen a brown cap on any known-original Chevy other than the Corvette L-88.
