Carb Codes

Do these carb codes look original? I am thinking about buying it, but it makes me wonder without dates codes in the same spot.

Tim, check the rear of the base plate on the drivers side of the carb. 69 Q-jets will have the date code either on the verticle boss or on the base plate. As for the stamping, it looks a little strange, but I think it's okay.

70 = built b4 1976  29 = 1969  2 = 49 State Emissions  0 = Chevy Div  4 = Automatic  not sure what the FF is
