White paint marks on the end of DZ 302 186 Heads

I went to pick up my heads from the machine shop and noticed when they were cleaned this white paint markings on the ends. Is this from the factory at Flint?
I cant seem to post a picture but would be glad to send to someone who can.

Most likely an inspection mark from the head assembly line - not uncommon.
