News header constantly changing...

Having the width of the header changing and moving everything under it up and down is frustrating. I click on a topic and it moves to another before it registers and I'm looking at something I never intended to open.
Can this be fixed ?  Please...

I'm not quite sure what you are seeing.
I fixed the info headers so they are the same # of lines a year or two ago and that fixed the problem for me and others. Maybe it has to do with your screen settings.

The headers have the same number of lines (2), but when it toggles, one of the headings has a space between the top and bottom line and causes everything below it to move up and down with the space.

It wasn't like that on my screen or on other computers I've used.

Fixed. I removed the news header but left the news box.
