I have a question about the cowl tag on my 69 camaro..I know its built in LA. Ive decoded all the numbers except for where the x-codes would be on a norwood built car.Mine simply reads UO49,and i cant find any info anywhere..Someone please help.

THANKS PAUL.iVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A 69 CAMARO FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HE SAYS ITS  AN ORIGINAL SS CAR AND IT IS BADGED AS A SS350 CAR BUT HE HAD RESTORED IT.SO IM JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER IF ITS REAL.I HAVE THE POP AND IVE DECODED THAT AND I KNOW ITS AN "HA" CAR WHICH SIMPLY MEANS ITS AN 350 4 SPEED CAR,BUT APPARENTLY LOS ANGELES DID NOT PUT THE APPEARANCE PACKAGE CODE ON THE POP OR THE COWL TAG?THNKS FOR YOUR HELP.DAVE

HA is an L48 (SS350) engine code. It's thus an SS.
