Where did I see some sort of table showing the kinds of tags and colors for front springs?  I found one on my rf spring.  It's painted over with black and very fragile, but it looks to be kind of yellowish.

You can find the options in the latest Rick's First  Generation catalog (Fall/Winter 2007), page 259. For '68 Zs, it looks like the only two options were purple or light blue.

Best of luck!

Thanks.  I thought I saw a chart here or elsewhere ( can't find one on CRG)  that had a list of what's what.  I don't trust what Rick's says or has very much.  Don't ask me why, I'll go into a tirade.

Does anyone have a factory document or source for Spring Tag Codes?

The charts are on the CRG site. I have them, but it comes back and reads the files are to large.

Mark -

Any chance you have one of those charts for the '68 model year?  Thanks in advance.

Thanks Mark,  I have the charts saved, but I could not send them.  It came back as  the file was to large.  Not much of a computer wiz.   :(

YA Front Spring Tag, 1969 Base Coupe, 307/327, no A/C including RS package, is a blue tag.
