1969 z28 block 4 bolt main caps

My understanding is that the 302 engines for the 1969 model year and maybe the CE replacement
performance engines came with the 2482 (casting number) on the 4 bolt main caps.

Are these superior 4 bolt main caps?

Does the absence of the 2482 main caps indicate that the block was not originally a heavy duty
or performance block from GM?
