1969 Camaro with AC

I am restoring a 1969 camaro with AC.  I am trying to get all of the Dash Ducts in place and have had trouble with the middle duct and the dash.  I attached it to the best of my ability and following the Assembly manual, however the manual does not give the best picture or instructions.  The metal dash seems to cover part of the middle duct.  I will attach pictures, just wondering if you forum members have any idea or guidance for me?  You cannot view this attachment.You cannot view this attachment.You cannot view this attachment.
