decode a CE BLOCK

I have a 68 Camaro 396 with a ce block how do you tell the build date the casting number is C-1-8   the stamp on the front pad is CE956908  the build date on the trim   tag is 4th week of march

The engine assembly date code will be stamped  on the starter mounting flat surface i think.
