Smog Pump Backside Casing Color

What is the correct black color for part of the backside smog pump casing?

Cast piece is semi gloss black.  Did you see this under the Engine \ 1967-69 Camaro Emissions Systems research report?  Lots of good info in the reports, if you go search through them.
