Does anyone know what angle in degrees the original tail pipe ends were cut on for assembly line installed pipes? Picture shows an original exhaust tail pipe.

Just two weeks ago a friend of mine had a similar curiosity and what he did was put a small carpenters magnetic level on top of the tail pipe extension to level it horizontally then used his iPhone with a level app installed and placed it against the end cut to get the angle reading. I don't recall what it was though but the idea was clever.

I used a dial measure like for a pinion. Somebody else ask about that a while back. Those are my original pipes in that picture...Joe
