From the ad:

This is a frame off rotisserie restored real X77 car with a numbers matching 302.

Body tag has been removed and re-installed. Looks real but does not indicate a vinyl top.

A Google search turns up pics and video of a silver & black Z/28. Same body tag, 350 engine.

Like to see the Protect-O-Plate. Not mentioned in the ad for the silver car.

Block stamp [V0130DZ] does not match two other known originals.

N611211 was final-assembled on or about March 10, 1969. Other Z/28s built at that time have early March engines.

The machining decking marks are pretty obvious on the engine pad. It would be one thing if there was some light decking done to clean the surface and some of the prefix was still left behind, but there would be no raised edges around the fonts. The fact that there are raised edges around the stamped fonts clearly shows it was stamped after decking.

That block stamp its terrible. I agree you can see where extra machining was done, likely to remove a previous stamp, so they could restamp

Restamped block and trans. Axle looks OK. Tag looks reasonable.
