Where can you buy rattle can paint to match a black dash top and the dash front?
also what do you guys use for under hood, fenderwells and firewall?
Thanks in advance

I have bought 2k rattlecans which are activated and then are not re-usable from the local paint supplier, however on a surface as large as a fenderwell it is difficult to use a rattlecan and get good even coverage.

I have to agree with James on this one.  Rattle can approach is not that consistent on such large surfaces.  If you don't already have them, it is time to invest in Jerry MacNeish's books.  In this case, his "THE DEFINITIVE 1969 CAMARO Z/28-SS396 FACT BOOK"  has an appendix called "1967-1969 Correct Component Color and Plating Chart".  At the first of that chart he does talk about his findings in rattle can paint, which are the best and how far off they are from factory.

Regarding the interior - are both areas stripped to bare metal, or are you top coating over existing?  The top of the dash (and a few other areas around the rear window trim of coupes) used a suede texture paint that differs from the face of the dash and the rest of the interior. How technically correct are you trying to get?  The paint experts will likely chime in on this.

TCP Global will sell you the correct suede paint for the dash top and put it in spray cans for , but you have to buy a quart minimum.
