zz502 into 69

Anyone done this transplant? Does the 502 sump fit and is there any other clearance problems when fitting to 69. Also are there any headers that will fit without adjustment ? Are the smallblock engine mounts ok ?

You can use either hooker headers (part # 2457) or if you have some extra money, go to Dougs headers (http://dougsheaders.com/tv/) for the 502 to fit in the 69 Camaro.  You will definitely need to change the oil pan to a 4 quart pan to clear the crossmember.  There is an oil pan offered that is specifically made for the 502 in a 69 Camaro.  Other than that, everything will fit fine.
