It's the original design shift boot for all '67-'68 manual transmission Camaros with console. The 12-71 dated Camaro parts book (note scan below) indicates it's also correct for '69 3-speed Camaros with a console.

if anyone would like I can try to get and post a few pics of my 69 3spd Muncie with console. Unfortunately, I can't verify the original boot for sure but I know I'm using a 67/68 style now because I found an old torn one in the trunk and it fits nice.

Is it squared off like the replacment and repops or rounded like the previous pics?

Its more flat with small boot. I bought the GM replacement one. I don't have one like Jon posted above. I've never been sure what boot/seal is supposed to be there.
