I seem to have misplaced the (4) J-Nuts that clip onto the lower control arms and receive the bolts for the front shocks (...and Rich P doesn't have any!). Are these repops exactly the same as the originals or do they differ?

Doesn't look like these originals (see pictures below)

Thanks Ed - as expected, not the same.

Mike: AMK stocks the bolts PN 9420555 (not sure about correctness of the head marking) however the do not show the J-Nuts 391359

Don't worry about the head markings since there were multiple vendors supplying hardware to GM at the time. However, those J-Nuts being sold by the various vendors aren't even close to being "correct".

Ed, I did notice that the affixed "nut" on the clips in the two photos you posted differ, one is four sided with the corners eased and the other a (conventional) hex nut. Are both of these styles correct for 1969? Vendor differences?

Located a nice desert-dry set of original J-Nuts and bolts that I can restore. The AMK bolt shown above in Reply #3 isn't typical for this application. I've seen photos of a few examples during the course of my search and in all cases the bolts used are rolled point vs flat tip/point style.
