Among my hoarded parts are a pair of NOS headlight brackets. Is this a date code Aug of 69?

Therefore not appropriate for my 11C 68 build. I will see my original brackets off the car today to see if they can hopefully be saved. Sometimes I wish GM didn't put a date stamp on everything. :)

Thanks - Andy

I almost believe it may be a stamping plant mark - I have a couple of pairs of '68's with the same "H".

Anyone find the same stamp, or a different stamp ?

I saw a pair on ebay with the same H 69 stamp, which felt like a coincidence. I haven't found anything to explain it better than a date stamp though. My originals haven't come off my car yet, so I can't check them.

I have two sets of '69 holders, one set is original to my X77. I'll check them out and report back -
