1968 396 SS August Los Angeles Production?

That is very unexpected news - the MY 396 325 engine stamp looked pretty legit to me.

Did the car have drum brakes back when you had it? Where did you sell it?

Anybody else have an opinion on the MY stamp? (Or re-stamp?)

Victor - the front brakes are power disc BTW.

Just waiting for the transmission info - I will definitely take a look in person.

Paul, I compared your eng pad photo to my (Get it) 1968 Camaro 12E SS/RS 396/TH400 pad 396/325 MY motor stamping and they Look exactly like your photo wrt font, alignment and digit & letter characteristics.
