Jano and I should meet up sometime. My car was new in Hubbard area and not far from you.
I hated to paint my car but ever panel had some issue. Dinged passenger door, burnt spot in hood from carb fire and other problems. It looked like it had tree sap damage on the roof. I saw it a month ago and when it warms up,I think it's ready to paint. The guy does a super job in prep and should look a lot better. It was a great car to do having everything there.

There's a story a body guy told me of a barn on a back road here with gm muscle cars in it. He has looked but never found them. May just be a story.  I do know, on the road my 300 G was on, a neighbor said there were 3 or 4 hemi cars in a building. He was a car guy and went by one day and they had a sale and sold them. He had no idea they were doing that.

Thats how quickly you can miss a good deal. Thats why its always nice to check out a collection or car that has been out of public sight, you never know what may come. I have been fortunate to keep in contact with some original owners, and when they were ready to sell they had my number handy. It can be quite the journey though sometimes.
