Wiper Blade Refills.. Was there more than one style Rubber?

I am trying to locate wiper blade refills, as I now have the correct holders instead of the red dots. I was told by a guy with many old parts that he has all 3 styles. Anybody know about this, and if so, what are the cut-offs for the dates? Or was it the case of several suppliers and what ever was in the bin at the time of assembly got installed? My car is an 05E. .. Danny

Anco 815 blades fit the Trico holders, too. You should be able to transplant from one to the other -

I still use my Red Dots - been through this discussion before, but they were on 2 of my cars when I got them; both sets with a lot of age to them (even in '73). I don't really care if the Trico blades were OEM - Red Dots are stilll my choice (plus they look good on the car(.
