Slick Tire Size

Would anybody know off hand, what size slick, in a 15", would fit a 1969 Camaro wheel well opening???        Thanks!!     Don

Phoenix, bias-ply 28.5" x 9" on a 4.5" back-space rim fits with no modification.  I have pictures.

I ran a 26 x 8 on a 15" corvette rally. in a 68 with staggered shocks. I'm at work now, cant give you backspacing.  This was the recommendation from Harlow Tire at Norwalk. Safety first.

gave enough bite to just pull the front wheels with a 5 grand stall/4:88's. foot braking

Will double check for you tomorrow when I get home.
68 Z/28  born with: 302, drive line, etc..
