Just need to clarify something guys...The 69 Z28 came with either a #298 BR or a #270 BR coil depending on what air cleaner was used correct? Non ever came with #293? I'm assuming the #293 fit everything non performance or am I wrong? I have a few laying around in my spare parts and the survivor 69 Impala I have has a #293.

Hi Gary
My z has a 202 coil. No idea why it would have been changed with its miles. What is it off?

Not sure of the 202, but I did find something on line that had code numbers at what vehicle they would be on, but now I can't find it. I'll stumble across it again. What I did find thru CRG and Team Camaro that the 298 BR is for open element air cleaners and the 270 BR was used with the ZL2 equipment. Not exactly sure what the 293 BR was used on, but i can tell you I have that number on my survivor 69 Impala LM1, 350/245, with power glide trans.

Is your car an early build?
Idk why but I was thinking the 202 was for 7&8 302 & 396.?.
