Best Method to Put in Rear Seat?

I recently fixed my rear seat.  It was always real hard to remove.  Then I notice one of the frames bars (where the hooks go) was bent.  straightened that.  Then I noticed that the two sides that make up the hook were not even.  one side was longer, so I trimmed that a little and reshaped it to match the other side.  now it slips in with less force
