Would like help as to if my 69 X44 is a dealer special order car of some sort or if it just has the BE rear end from another car.  Rear end under it is BE 0513 G1.  Cowl tag is X44, 06A, trim 711  paint 55 55.  Norwood car vin 124379N660___.
From what I can research it is not one of the 69 copo's.  But wordering if it might have been one of those cars some performance dealers ordered?
No eng or trans so can't tell from there.  Has front disc's & correct style proportioning valve,  but no power booster.  No heater or a/c stuff left.   Was A/C car which makes me think rear end may not be original to car.  But dating indicates it may be.
Naturally can provide full vin but have read that it is not wise to do so.
Any help/input will be most appreciated.

What makes you think that the car originally had A/C?
If the car for sure had A/C then it could not have been a COPO.

If there is no engine in the car... click a few photo's of the firewall (Left side, Middle, right side), motor mount stands, clutch bell crank (if 4spd), and the trans crossmember.

Assuming that it was not originally an A/C Car...
Was the car an Auto or a 4spd?
If 4 spd check for the Muncie speedo cable location.

Also check for the cowl induction firewall piercing... I believe it is 7/8"  just above and to the left (if standing in the engine compartment looking towards the interior of the car) of the main harness bulkhead connection on the firewall.

Why? Exactly what is someone going to do with it? Doesn't seem to be a problem with all the ZL1 and Yenkos.

Anyway, email me the VIN and body # and I'll see if I can help you.
